2019 NAFA Summer Nationals Tournament Nationals at NAFA is a fantastic way to cap off a season of hard work and growth. Teams travel from around Oregon, Washington and Idaho to participate in games from Thursday to Saturday with Championship games on Sundays. Thursday Games begin at 8am in each city. Players and Coaches enjoy the events hosted at Nationals, (see side bar), especially the pin trading which takes place on Friday night. Team Introduction Tournament Ceremonies for all classes will be posted on brackets • Tournament Ceremonies in each city at different times (see actual time on the bracket) Friday Games begin at 8am, Last round begins at 5:15pm. Saturday Games begin at 8am, last round at 9pm(usually 6:30pm). Sunday Games begin at 8am, Championship game at 3pm, “If game” at 4:45pm. Awards presentation following each team’s last game. FACILITY RULEs: The facility rules do not allow metal or glass containers inside the facilities. No animals are allowed, no noisemakers, no RV parking in the parking lots. No un-sportsmanlike behavior is tolerated. No alcohol. No smoking inside the complexes & parks. MOTEL AND CAMPING INFO… Due to the size of our event and the difficulty of finding motels we are promoting the Newberg(www.chehalemvalley.org) & McMinnville (www.visitmcminnville.com) & North Clackamas (www.mthoodterritory.com) Local tourism contacts for this event this year. TOP LEVEL UMPIRES…We have put together a finest staff of umpires for this event that feature many of the top college and High School Officials from the West including umpire that you watch on TV. Over the years we have had 15 Pac 10 Umpires, 8 World Series Umpires, and 50 Division II and Division III College Umpires officiate at this event from Arizona, California, Oregon, Alaska, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, Canada, and Hawaii. SPECTATOR ADMISSION FEES…(everyone plays a minimum of three days) Spectator Admission Fees will be $8.00 daily adult ticket, $5.00 daily youth/senior ticket-or SAVE on a $20.00 adult tournament pass (save $12.00 over four days or save $4.00 over three days), and a $12.00 youth ages 10-17 or Senior Citizens (over 60) tournament pass (save $8.00 over four days or $3.00 over three days). All children 9- younger are FREE. Any adult trying to use a player pass will be ejected from the event. Anyone trying to copy passes will be ejected from all events. And any attempt to swap passes will cause ejection. |
